WHAT DOES IT DO?
Getting rid of any lumps, rough texture and redness, this lightweight lotion blends sugarcane-derived glycolic acid and maize-derived polyhydroxy acids to dissolve the ‘glue’ that keeps dead skin cells attached.
Follicle-blocking bacteria and keratin protein (the cause of keratosis pilaris), are quickly buffed away.
With a sweet peach aroma, it’s a real sensorial treat.

How To Use
This product works best once you’ve used an exfoliating mitt to help loosen any impurities.
Massage the mitt all over your skin when it’s dry, jump in the shower to rinse and then when you’ve towelled down, rub this all over troubled areas.
Suitable for daily use, ensure you apply an SPF afterwards as AHAs increase your sun sensitivity.

Plant AHAs
Alpha hydroxy acids are the bee’s knees when it comes to chemical exfoliation and we source our glycolic acid (AHA) from sugarcane. A gold standard exfoliator that requires no rubbing (no-one wants any extra redness), we also combine it with another natural exfoliant – pomegranate enzymes – to ensure all dead skin cells are removed.
Papaya Oils
A jack of all trades, papaya seed oil is full of essential fatty acids that nourish the skin and leave it looking plump and cushiony soft. However it also contains the enzyme papain which is another exfoliator that dissolves impurities on the skin.
Noni Fruit Extract
Ripe with vitamin A and C along with antioxidants, this odd-looking fruit from the Caribbean will not only make skin look brighter and more radiant, it’s clinically proven to increase skin elasticity. "This stuff is amazing! I have suffered from Keratosis Pilaris on my arms since I was about 2, and believe me, I have tried everything to help it and had given up some years ago as nothing would clear it. Then, I came across this product, after only 3 nights of using it, it had pretty much cleared it completely! I now use it only once a week just to keep on top of it. I am astonished at how well this has worked and at how grateful I am to now be able to have my arms out without feeling self conscious about the KP! (Not that you should feel self conscious if you have KP, but it did affect me personally). I also have very sensitive skin and so was nervous to try it, but I didn’t need to worry, because, aside from a tiny tingle at the start (to be expected with the AHA), it was completely fine. Here’s to super smooth arms!"

"I have been using this product for 2 weeks and it's made a massive difference to my skin already. I didn't realise the bumpy rough skin on my upper arms and thighs had a medical name till I was browsing the Tropic catalogue. It was like a eureka moment for me. I have tried so many exfoliators and moisturisers in the past with little to no effect. Body smooth is brilliant though - very moisturising. I now use the mitt first, then my body smooth and then the Super Smooth lotion. I find it sinks in quickly and leaves my skin feeling honestly SUPER SMOOTH. - Would this be helpful for cellulite?

Our Perfect skin resurfacing body lotion is more targeted to removing dead skin cells, smoothing out rough texture and is also known to help with Keratosis Pilaris, which we recommend is used with our exfoliating mitt. Our Body Love firming buttercream is more suitable for use on cellulite as it contains pink peppercorn and sea kelp extracts which help to firm and tone the skin. We hope this helps!
- Can I use this after the body scrub?

Our Perfect Skin resurfacing body lotion can be used after using our Body Smooth refreshing polish, however we would preferably recommend this is used with our exfoliating mitt, just so the skin doesn't get irritated with the manual exfoliation of the Body Smooth and then the exfoliation provided by the Perfect Skin too. - After using an epilator I now have chicken skin. I won’t be using that again. Exfoliating is not doing anything, will this lotion help to clear up the bumps that are obviously trapped hair follicles? If yes, when would I start to see a difference of reduced bumps and redness? - What is the best product for bacne?
- Hi LT, thanks for getting in touch with us. For bacne/body breakouts, our Pure Lagoon blemish prevention serum can be used on this area. This is a lightweight serum that feeds your skins natural flora, which in turn can give great results for a blemish-prone complexion. It includes ingredients such as blue spirulina and malachite extract which soothe the skin and reduce inflammation, vitamin B3 and Zinc PCA which help balance sebum production. Another product we'd recommend is our Ocean Dive pore-clearing serum. Salicylic, fulvic and lactic acid together have been included to declog pores, reduce blemishes and oil and destroy bad bacteria to reduce breakouts for a smoother, clarified texture to the skin. Perfect Skin is also a great choice, as this includes 10% glycolic acid to remove dead skin and fade scars, alongside papaya oil, which contains fatty oils to comfortably nourish the skin.
